What’s behind the receipts?
These are comparisons of completed games, not predictions or a final verdict on anyone’s team.
Schedule luck: actual wins versus expected wins
Each week, a team gets one ninth of a win for every other team it outscores, and half that for a tie. Add those weekly shares for Leeger’s Adjusted Wins Against the League (AWAL). Gap = actual wins + half of tied games − expected wins. A positive gap means the actual record beat this benchmark; a negative gap means it fell short. This is a schedule comparison, not proof that luck explains every result.
Opponent strength: the scores you actually faced
For each week, we take your opponent’s share of teams outscored and add those shares across the season (Leeger’s opponent AWAL). Higher means stronger opposing performances on the weeks you met. It is not a ranking of your opponents’ full seasons. Every team’s equal-strength benchmark is seven over fourteen weeks. The table also shows average points scored against you.
Consistency: how widely your scores varied
Leeger’s population standard deviation measures the spread of weekly scores around a team’s average. Lower means steadier scoring, not necessarily better scoring. Read it alongside average points, best week and worst week. All comparisons here use the same season and league scoring rules.
